LEGO Spider-Man
Wireframe
Textures
Along with the model, the textures for this project were created by myself, initially in Substance Painter, this allowed me to create a uniform base colour and roughness map for each part of the Minifigure
The linework on the character was then hand drawn by me in Adobe photoshop and applied to the base colour map that I had exported from painter, complying with the UV layout I had made for the model
Rigging
A simple armature was created and applied to the model for easy movement, poses and a streamlined workflow when rendering.
Finally I used Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create this faming for the image, drawing reference from the "Daily Bugle" newspaper props from Sam Raimi's 2002 "Spider-Man" movie. I added in a few LEGO themed details to the final composition, such as the stud icon in place of currency and the Daily Bugle logo, which is inspired by the Bugle logo featured in LEGO set 76178, "Daily Bugle".
